How to Delete Your Google Business Profile

Remove a duplicate or unwanted Google Profile that you manage.

πŸ‘‰ Duplicate Google Business Profiles can confuse your potential future clients. If you realize you have a duplicate Google Business Profile or want to create a new one from scratch, here's how to delete one.

Keep in mind, when you delete a Google Business Profile, you will lose all reviews associated with it!

⚠️ Proceed with caution! ⚠️

You will first need to locate the Google Business Profile that you would like to remove. To do so, make sure you are logged in to Google with the account that you used to create your business profile. Then do a Google search for "My Business" or the name of your business. Then scroll down until you see the section that says "You manage this Business Profile".

1. Select your business.

2. Select the three dots in the upper right corner.

3. Select Business Profile Settings on the right.

4. Select Remove Business Profile.

5. You have two options here "Remove profile content and managers" will allow the profile to remain, but any content and manager information will be deleted. "Mark this business as closed" will allow you to mark the business as temporarily or permanently closed. Make your selections and save changes.
